Put a cranky toddler and currently tired/hungry pregnant mom together and you have me searching for the quickest, easiest meal I can whip together. I know I am not alone in this. BONUS: 5 BASIC MEAL IDEAS THAT DON’T REQUIRE A RECIPE!

Pasta dish: pasta or tortellini + chicken sausage + vegetable of choice + sauce of choice

Stir Fry: Instant Brown Rice + Vegetables of choice + protein of choice (e.g shrimp, chicken, beef) + teriyaki sauce or other stir fry sauce

Tacos: ground meat or shrimp, tortilla (corn or whole wheat flour), toppings: cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, salsa, avocado etc.

Breakfast for dinner: Egg sandwich or pancakes with eggs served with fruit
