And it gets better this is a recipe you can make ahead with your kids to have for an easy breakfast.
Overnight oats are basically oatmeal that requires no cooking. Simply add ingredients to a jar, mix and place in the refrigerator overnight. While you sleep the oats soak up all the moisture from the milk and yummy flavors. When you wake up you have yourself an enticing on-the-go breakfast!
What You Need for Pumpkin Apple Pie Overnight Oats?
old fashioned OR instant oats
pumpkin puree (not Pumpkin Pie Puree)
vanilla or plain yogurt
milk (of your choice)
cinnamon
pumpkin spice
chia seeds (although optional!)
pecans (also, optional)
apples
How Can Kids Help Make Pumpkin Apple Pie Overnight Oats?
measure and pour into a bowl: oats, pumpkin puree, yogurt, milk, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, chia seeds (if using)
Mix above ingredients together
Chop pecans (can also add pecans to a zip lock bag, seal and crush with their hands or the back of a spoon)
Dice apples

Ingredients
1cupold fashioned oats
1/2 cuppumpkin puree
1cupvanilla or plain Greek yogurt
1cupmilk (of choice)
1tablespoonchia seeds
1/2teaspoonpumpkin spice
1teaspooncinnamon
1/4cuppecanschopped
2 smallapplesdiced
Instructions
In a medium bowl add oats, pumpkin puree, yogurt, milk, chia seeds, pumpkin spice, cinnamon and mix to combine. Place in air tight container and store in the fridge overnight.
When ready to eat serve topped with chopped pecans and diced apples.
